My name is Katarzyna Lanckoronska and I am 25 years old. I come from Poland and currently, live in Downtown Los Angeles. I graduated from one of the most modern and largest Scandinavian University - TEKO Design + Business, VIA University College in Herning, Denmark with a Bachelor's Degree in Pattern/Fashion Design.
My adventure with fashion has started many years ago during attending High School of Fine Arts in MY HOMETOWN - Kielce, Poland where I studied Graphic Design for 6 years.
Already that time, I dreamed of working in the fashion industry.
In my early years, I designed high quality, avant-garde garments and currently, I am a freelance designer of any kind of apparel and graphics.
As for now, I have 7 years of experience in Fashion Design and 5 years of experience in Pattern Design. According to Pattern Design, I have broad knowledge of constructing garments manually and digitally (in Gerber Accumark CAD/CAM).
My skills in apparel include women's and men's clothing - construction, grading for the European and the USA industries, draping, fitting, haute-couture hand sewing, preparing tech packs and flat sketches for manufacturing, marker making for clothing production, fabrics and trims knowledge, sewing on industrial machines, preparing

According to Fashion Design, I have skills in: swatch research, trend research (I am a well-organized and on time with the newest trends), look-book creation and great drawing and painting skills (digital as well), designing collections with design management that take into account cost, style, fit, fabric, trims, construction and technology, as well as, identify new or innovative concepts, materials and manufacturing processes.

In addition, I worked for couple of fashion companies in California (6 months in total) at the companies "For Love&Lemons" (forloveandlemons.com) and Mila Hermanovski - participant of the american project runway (milahermanovski.com). What is more, I worked for the Evangarda company (evangarda.pl) in Poland.

I reckon that I am a person that is capable of making the impossible possible and have always been working hard to achieve my goals. In the past, I was awarded in many fashion and graphic competitions. I truly believe that I am the right person that any apparel company needs. My passion and optimism help me to achieve the expected results as well as turn up my creativity and satisfaction. I think that, as a young person, I have the ability to develop modern and innovative ideas which are not limited by any schemes. I can truly bring a lot of precious and creative energy and be as effective as it is possible.
